I would strongly reccomend you to sale your Old Laptop Alienware M17 and upgrade to something more up to date in order for you to enjoy playing Fallout 4 ( and gaming in general ). ( I am surprise that the game even loads at all with only 512MB of VRam ), harsh reality but is true.

There is no magical driver that will help you run the game with playable frame rates, no way dude. So it is not a 1GB video card, it is a 512MB video card, release date for your video card was February 2008, almost 8 years ago ! Also your laptop M17 comes with only 4GB of system memory as per the M17 specifications. Your Laptop M17 uses an ancient low clocked Old Intel Core 2 Duo ( Dual Core CPU ), your very old VGA is outdated by todays standards for gaming, 3870x2 has only 512MB of vram mirrored for crossfire. I am sorry to say this and i am not trying to put you down or anything, but the reality and fact is your whole sistem is very outdated and does not even meet the minimum requirements to play Fallout 4, hence why Fallout 4 runs as a slide show and will never be able to produce playable framerates even in the lowest of the lowest in game settings and lowest resolution.
